WEEK #1 SAFARI LEARNING ADVENTURE JUNE 15-19

SAFARI LEARNING ADVENTURE

Students explore animal habitats and ecosystems through structured, literacy-rich lessons that integrate reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and oral language skills. Instruction emphasizes understanding informational text, identifying key details, sequencing ideas, and describing concepts with clarity. Through guided discussion and hands-on learning experiences, students strengthen their ability to make connections, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate ideas effectively, all within a supportive small group setting that fosters confidence and curiosity.

GRAMMAR, PHONICS & READING COMPREHENSION

Students build strong literacy foundations through explicit, structured instruction in phonics, grammar, and comprehension strategies. Lessons focus on decoding, word recognition, sentence structure, and understanding text with increasing accuracy and fluency. WEEK #2 OUTER SPACE ADVENTURE JUNE 22-26

OUTER SPACE EXPLORATION LAB

Blast off into a week of discovery as students explore the wonders of the universe through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. This camp introduces young learners to planets, stars, the moon, and basic astronomy concepts while building foundational academic skills. Through interactive experiments, creative projects, and guided discussions, students will strengthen reading comprehension, early writing, and problem-solving abilities. Space-themed math activities, storytelling, and collaborative learning help develop critical thinking, curiosity, and confidence. This enriching experience encourages children to ask questions, think beyond our world, and develop a deeper understanding of the universe around them.

FOUNDATIONS BOOT CAMP

This class supports both academic development and the ability to function confidently in a structured learning environment.

WEEK #3 INSECT INVESTIGATION JUNE 29-JULY3

INSECT DISCOVERY LAB

Step into the fascinating world of insects as students observe, explore, and investigate the tiniest creatures around us. This hands-on lab encourages curiosity and scientific thinking through close observation, nature-based learning, and interactive activities. Students will learn about insect habitats, life cycles, and characteristics while building vocabulary, early reading skills, and foundational writing. Through art, sorting, and simple science experiments, children develop fine motor skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. CANDY STORE AND SWEET TREATS

A fun and engaging hands-on camp where children explore the sweet world of treats while building important academic and life skills. Students will design their own “candy store,” create simple recipes, and learn the basics of measuring, counting, and following directions through interactive cooking activities. Each day blends creativity with learning as children practice early math concepts like sorting, patterns, and money, while also strengthening reading and writing through labeling, menu creation, and storytelling.

MATH FOUNDATIONS

Students strengthen essential math skills including number sense, addition, subtraction, time, money, and problem-solving strategies through structured, hands-on instruction. Lessons emphasize conceptual understanding, accuracy, and the ability to apply skills in real-world contexts. WEEK #5 MINI MARKETPLACE JULY 13-17

YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

Students develop planning, organization, and communication skills while learning introductory business concepts such as product design, pricing, and presentation. Instruction emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to clearly express ideas through both verbal and visual presentation. Students are encouraged to think independently, make decisions, and take ownership of their work, building confidence and real-world application of academic skills.

MONEY MATTERS

Students develop practical math skills through real-world applications connected to money, numbers, and problem-solving. Instruction focuses on number sense, addition and subtraction, counting, and early financial literacy concepts such as identifying coins, simple budgeting, and understanding value. Through structured, hands-on activities, students practice applying math skills in meaningful contexts while strengthening accuracy, reasoning, and confidence. This class supports both foundational math development and the ability to think critically about real-world situations.

WEEK #6 STORYBOOK ADVENTURES JULY 20-24

READING & WRITING WORKSHOP

WEEK #7 CAMPING ADVENTURE JULY 27-31

ADVENTURE CAMP

Get ready for a week of outdoor-inspired fun and learning as students explore the excitement of camping through hands-on activities and imaginative play. This engaging camp blends nature exploration with academic skill-building, as children practice reading, writing, and math through themed projects and collaborative experiences. Students will learn about outdoor safety, teamwork, and basic survival skills while participating in activities like “campfire” storytelling, map exploration, and creative building challenges.
